Boost Your Manifesting Practice With Color - But Beware!
Yes, there is such a thing as too much color! Here’s why and what to do about it.

Color plays a significant role in our lives, influencing our emotions, behaviours, and our understanding of the world we live in. It can play a huge role in our manifesting practice but, as with everything in life, balance is crucial.
Our individual perception of color shapes who we are and how we feel on a daily basis.
One person may feel instantly uplifted and joyous at the sight of yellow, whereas the next might find it nauseating or overstimulating. Green can evoke feelings of peaceful serenity for some but incite bitterness and envy for others.
When working with the energetics of color, understanding the nuances of different colors is essential to maintaining a healthy balance - too much or not enough of a specific color can have dramatic negative effects. It’s a very fine, albeit vibrant, line!
In this post we’ll look at both sides of the color coin so that you can learn how to use it to elicit specific emotions to enhance your manifesting practice but also how to recognise when you’ve gone too far, and how you can regain balance.
The energetics of color
Colors play a more significant role in our lives than simply making the world more interesting to look at; they are a symphony of energetic frequencies and vibrations that resonate deeply with our emotions and affect our overall wellbeing.
At the most fundamental level, colors are manifestations of light, each hue representing a specific wavelength and frequency on the electromagnetic spectrum. These frequencies interact with our energy fields, influencing our physical, emotional, and psychological states in profound ways.
Understanding the energetics of color begins with recognising that each color has a unique vibration. For instance, red, with its long wavelengths and lower frequency, carries a warm, stimulating energy that can evoke feelings of passion and excitement.
In contrast, blue, with shorter wavelengths and higher frequency, exudes a calming, soothing energy that promotes relaxation and tranquility. These vibrational qualities are not just abstract concepts; they are measurable phenomena that impact our body's electromagnetic field.
When we perceive a color, its frequency interacts with our own energetic vibrations, creating responses that can enhance or disrupt our emotional equilibrium. The impact of color is not universally positive. For example, excessive exposure to certain colors, such as intense reds or stark whites, can lead to feelings of agitation or apathy.
By integrating an awareness of color as energy into our daily lives, we can create environments that support our emotional needs, enhance our mood, and help us tune our vibration to the frequency of that which we want to manifest.
Remember, successful manifesting starts with the heart - being in energetic alignment to your desires is the key to making them real.

So now you have an understanding of what color is and why it affects us, let’s go through each colour in the visible spectrum (plus black and white) and look at the positive and negative emotions that they can provoke, and also what to counterbalance them with when you find yourself at tipping point.
Red

Negative Attributes: Too much black can evoke feelings of sadness, oppression, or heaviness. It might also create a sense of isolation or invisibility.

Negative Attributes: Excessive white can lead to feelings of boredom or austerity. It might also create a sense of fastidiousness or being over-critical.
