3 Easy Ways To Manifest With Color Every Day

Color is everywhere so use it to your advantage!

Unless you’re in the 4.5% of people worldwide who are color blind, you are surrounded by a sea of chromatic beauty every day.

Color is how we, as humans, make sense of everything. It keeps us safe and it helps us to thrive. It is largely taken for granted but when you become color conscious you can use it to your advantage and manifest your best life.

There are three easy ways you can use color to manifest every day: you can use it with intention in your home, in the clothes you wear and even the food you eat. Let’s delve a little deeper in to each of these areas so you can start manifesting daily without even thinking about it!

1. Dopamine Decor

The colors with which we choose to decorate our homes play a vital role in our wellness so consider the colors in your living and working spaces carefully. Instead of following trends, choose hues that align with the atmosphere you wish to create.

The dopamine decor trend doesn’t have to mean decorating in a vibrant spectrum of color, it means using the colors that make you feel good. That said, generally speaking, if you seek a calming environment for relaxation, opt for warm or muted tones in your living room.

If you want to manifest love, steer clear of vibrant stimulating colours in the bedroom. Yellow is a big no-no but if you really must have this hue opt for an earthier ochre shade.

Despite it being the hue most commonly associated with love and passion (thank you marketing experts!), red is also to be avoided. It is a very hot color and can heighten emotions - but not necessarily in a good way! You may find yourself feeling inexplicably aggressive. Any tension could boil over and lead to a heated argument with your partner.

Blue is a great choice for a home office as it can encourage focus and mental clarity. It’s a good color to work with if you’re manifesting a new job.

Experiment with different colors and observe how they make you feel. If you can’t, or don’t want to, fully redecorate then try adding in accessories or artwork in your chosen hues. Even a small amount here and there will make a difference to the atmosphere of a room.

2. Wellbeing Wardrobe

The clothes you wear can also influence your mood and that of others. Your skin absorbs the energy through the material but you project it on to other people as well. Dressing in colors that reflect the emotions you want to experience or the energy you want to give out can have a profound impact on your state of mind.

If you need a confidence boost, try wearing bold colors like red or orange, black will assert an air of authority. For a sense of tranquility, opt for soft pastels and avoid too much pattern. Yellow makes you appear friendly and approachable. Sky blues like azure or cerulean garner trust and indicate sincerity - perhaps why it is favoured by politicians and salespersons!

I have to admit I’m not terribly interested in fashion (I’m a hoodie and cargo pants kinda girl!) so have adopted a bit of a Steve Jobs approach to clothes - I have multiple white t-shirts, even more black ones and sixteen grey jumpers! I have recently done a lot of inner work to understand why I’m drawn to wearing such uninteresting shades when my favourite color has always been magenta. I’ll explain why in another post, but this can provide valuable insight and help you to remove emotional blocks.

3. Natural Nourishment

Spending time in nature is an excellent way to engage with a diverse range of colors. Like plants, your skin photosynthesises and absorbs light so take walks in lush green forests, soak up the vibrant rainbow of flowers in your garden or immerse yourself in breathtaking sunsets.

One thing I always remember from landscape painting is that absolute black doesn’t exist in nature so if you’re feeling a bit down and need a quick mood boost, head outside!

Nature's color palette has a therapeutic effect on your wellbeing and can instantly lift your spirits but it’s not only externally beneficial - the color of the food you eat can also keep your mind and body aligned.

A rainbow-filled plate of fresh ingredients will ensure you’re getting a good mix of nutrients. Green is probably the easiest color to include, in color therapy it is the ultimate balancer so is a great place to start.

Red, orange and yellow fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants and help to flush out any toxins. These are also ‘magnetic colours’ which help keep us grounded so root vegetables in these colours will have added earthing power.

Color is a powerful force that can significantly impact your mood, emotions, and overall wellbeing (check out this post to find out how). By understanding the psychological and physiological effects of different colors, you can harness their power to create spaces and experiences that promote harmony, balance, and positivity in our lives.

Through mindful color choices in your surroundings, your wardrobe or your diet, embracing the world of colour opens up endless possibilities for enhancing your wellbeing and leading a more vibrant life.

Regardless of whether you’re a Chroma Queen or a Master of Monochrome, it’s easy to get color working for you so you can live in alignment with your desires and start to manifest them every day.
