Everything You Know About Manifestation Is A Lie—Except This

Forget the frameworks, focus on the feeling

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about everything I’ve read, listened to, and watched about manifestation over the last six years, and I’ve come to a conclusion:

Most of it is rubbish.

I’ve tried all the methods that the internet suggests—visualising, scripting, affirming, making vision boards etc.—and you know what?

None of it worked.

What did work was getting out of my head and into my heart.

What worked wasn’t thinking, it was feeling.

Turns out Neville Goddard was right.

The Big Manifestation Lie

Mainstream manifestation advice is full of rules: affirm it, visualise it, repeat it. “Think better thoughts,” blah blah blah.

It’s a top down approach—very masculine, very logical, very Newtonian.

But Goddard’s teachings are centred around the idea that our internal state is the primary creator of our reality.

And, through trial and error, I believe this to be true. I’ve learned is that you can’t strategise your way to your desires. You have to feel your way there. You have to become an energetic match for what you’re calling in.

Emotions are the real signal to the universe. Feeling is the frequency that makes you magnetic. Without it, you’re just pissing in the wind.

Why Feeling Matters

Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work emphasises that when you embody the emotions of your desired reality, your brain starts to wire itself to recognise and create that reality. You are literally training your nervous system to live as if your desires are already true.

The HeartMath Institute adds another layer: your heart emits an electromagnetic field that can be measured, and when your heart and emotions are coherent, your energy literally aligns with your intentions. Emotional coherence is a measurable, scientifically validated doorway to manifestation.

All my biggest manifestations happened this way.

From buying my dream home to selling thousands of pounds worth of artwork worldwide, when I looked at what I was doing in the run up to these things happening I noticed a common thread.

I wasn’t obsessively scripting, visualising, performing. I was feeling good. I was carefree, detached, playful, being silly, having fun.

I was just being me and fully embodying my emotions. And that’s what made me magnetic.

Colour As A Catalyst To Feeling Good

Here’s where most people get stuck: feeling your desired state consistently is hard. In fact, it’s literally impossible. Your energy dips, life throws curveballs, doubt creeps in—and don’t even get me started on hormones!

And you shouldn’t try to bypass or override any negative feelings. Ain’t no “good vibes only” shit here. No, this is about feeling it all.

And this is where colour becomes your secret weapon.

Colour speaks directly to the nervous system and the subconscious mind. Engaging with colours that connect to specific emotions instantly shifts your frequency.

As a general rule, blue calms, purple inspires, yellow boosts confidence, green amplifies abundance—but everyone is different so find what works for you.

And if you want to fully understand your emotional patterns and energetic set point, in every area of your life, then you need to know your Hue-man Design™.

Fade to black…

All the affirmations, vision boards, and mindset work in the world can’t replace one thing: feeling the emotional outcome of your desire in the present.

Feeling is the real magic behind manifestation. And if you want to make it easy, fun, and tangible, start with colour. Your nervous system will thank you—and life will start rearranging itself to your new state.

You don’t need a method to manifest, you need to manage your mood.
