Cool, Calm and Connected (April Vibe)
Hop, skip and jump towards Easter with this light spring color palette

Is it even April without pastel shades?
I’m embracing the cliché with this month’s palette. For me, April is white but by itself it’s a tad yawnsome—so fuck it, let’s go all in on the Easter Bunny/Cute Chick (not that sort) sugared almond shades.
The energy is light, breezy (literally) and fun. It feels like starting afresh. Makes you wanna fling open your windows, let all the stale crap fly out, and have a damn good tidy.
Easter is totally my favourite holiday—and not just cos of the choccy (what is it about Easter egg chocolate? It’s just so much better than a boring ol’ bar!). It’s a time for family, celebration, and aliveness.
The April colour palette is your permission slip to enjoy yourself and let your inner child go full on Augustus Gloop.
Let’s crack on (that’s an egg yolk—I mean joke. Oh dear.)
Lemon Yellow - Your Inner Sunshine
Pastel yellow is a total vibe-lifter. It’s here to make you smile and get all optimistic. This zesty shade wakes up your nervous system with a gentle shake rather than a smack, boosts your mood, and delivers confidence with aplomb not arrogance. Lemon says: cheer up buttercup! (Please don’t hit me)
Jade Green - Growth, But Calm
This green isn’t about the grind—it’s about growing at your own pace. It’s the colour of baby leaves and new beginnings, without the pressure to bloom overnight. Pastel green is here to remind you that slow and steady wins the race. And that you can still be quiet and successful.
Pale Pink – Soft But Strong
Pale pink is the colour of vulnerability. This month put down the shield and lean into squishyness. This pink cracks open the hard shell and says, let’s feel it all—then let it go. It’s perfect for anyone clearing emotional goop and calling in compassion, for self and others. Remember, being vulnerable isn’t a weakness, it’s a strength.
Duck Egg Blue – Energetic Febreze
This restful shade of pastel blue is like a deep exhale for your soul. It cools, clears mental clutter, and brings clarity. If your brain’s been in overdrive in Q1, duck egg blue will take it down a gear or two. Use it in your environment, wardrobe, or visualisations when you need to calm TF down and align with inner truth. It’s peace in a pastel.
Peach – Pleasure & Play
Peach is your permission to feel good. It’s playful, sociable, and full of life. This colour reminds you to prioritise joy. Not everything has to be a trauma excavation. Sometimes, healing looks like snort-laughing being a silly goose.
White – The Reset Button
White is the sacred blank canvas. It clears energetic residue and makes room for whatever fresh magic you’re ready to create. Think of it as spiritual bleach (minus the chemical burn). It’s clean, crisp, and full of potential—just like April itself.
April’s energy is a mixed bag (like its weather!)—expect growth spurts followed by a need to rest and nurture, periods of social interaction balanced with time for introspection and peace.
Use these colours to manage your mood, freshen things up, and step into the next quarter lighter, brighter, and way more you.
Now is not the time for an egg-sistential crisis. This palette will ensure you connect, create and cultivate a new you. One who’s less sticky, more sweet.
Yum.
