Everyone Can Manifest — You Just Forgot How To Feel
Why modern life is messing with your natural abilities
I stopped writing about manifestation for a while because it felt like it had become just another overused buzzword that completely lost its meaning.
Which pissed me off because it’s still a huge part of my work—and my life.
The thing is, most people still think manifestation is woo woo. It’s lumped in with other esoteric abilities like psychic powers. Channelling. Remote viewing.
I’ve been contemplating these a lot lately in my attempt to understand how the universe works, and here’s what I keep coming back to: what if all these things aren’t mystical nonsense? What if they’re natural human skills—ones we’re all born with—that modern life has systematically switched off?
If that seems bonkers, think about it like this: a radio doesn’t lose its ability to receive a signal just because there’s interference on the frequency. The signal is still broadcasting. The radio is still capable. It’s the distortion that’s the problem.
The quantum field is the signal. You are the radio. But you’re living inside the interference.
Modern life—the chronic stress, the overstimulation, the relentless noise—doesn’t just exhaust you. It fucks with your frequency.
Abilities that might be entirely natural—like tuning into something beyond the physical, moving consciousness beyond the body, or receiving information from outside the ordinary five senses—become impossible not because they’re made up, but because social conditioning has blocked the signal.
Manifestation sits in the same ball park—and the same distortion blocks it. Because here’s what not enough manifestation teachers talk about: the catalyst isn't belief. It's feeling. The ability to connect to the emotion of something before it exists. To let it live in your body, not just your head.
It’s like method acting. A great actor doesn’t pretend to grieve—they access something real. The tears are real. The nervous system doesn’t know the difference. Manifestation works exactly the same way. Intellectual belief alone won’t cut it. Your body has to genuinely believe the story you’re telling it.
The uncomfortable truth bomb
Most of us have lost access to the full spectrum of our emotions. We’ve been quietly trained out of feeling things fully. We numb discomfort with medication—prescribed or otherwise. We scroll past the joy and the sadness. We stay busy—relentlessly, performatively busy—because sitting still means actually feeling everything: the longing, the melancholy, the desire, all of it.
We’re told things like ‘real men don’t cry’. Women are labelled as ‘unhinged’ for expressing anger. Big emotions got suppressed. Maybe it wasn’t safe for you to say how you were feeling. Maybe you got told you were a bit much when you did. So you dialled it down. And down. Until you became dead inside. Or at least indifferent.
As a result, manifesting seems like a whimsical, cabalistic idea that doesn’t really work. Because you can write a list of everything you want. You can think about it, talk about it, make a whole aesthetic Pinterest board about it. But you can’t feel it in your soul. And feeling it is the whole fucking point.
Neville Goddard wrote a whole book about it, FFS!
Feeling IS the secret
This is something I come back to constantly in my colour psychology work. Because colour is one of the fastest, most primal routes back into your emotional body—before language, before logic, before your inner critic has a chance to butt in. For people who have numbed out, it can be a way to practise feeling again. Safely. Intuitively. Without having to explain it to anyone.
Because that’s what this really comes down to—not learning a new skill, but remembering something you have always had within you.
So I’ll leave you with this: what’s the driving emotion behind what you want to manifest? Don’t think it. Name it. And feel it in every cell of your body.
That’s where manifestation actually begins. Not on the vision board. In the feeling underneath it.

PS. If you're ready to start feeling your way back, a Colour Reading is a good place to begin. It's not about your favourite colour—it's about reading what your relationship with colour reveals about where you are emotionally, and what you might be blocking. You can find out more here.
