I’ve been developing something new: Hue-Man Design—a colour-coded soul map based on your birth date, month, and year. It’s your personal blueprint for relationships, health, and purpose…your whole life, basically.

The Concept of Hue-Man Design

Colour psychology reveals a lot about what makes you tick. Combining it with numerology provides deeper insights into your strengths, weaknesses, character and energetic signature.

When I stumbled upon the idea of Soul Colours a couple of years ago I knew I had tapped into something special and have been quietly beavering away building a complete system to help you understand yourself better in a way that’s fun, exciting and totally new.

Colour is so much more than a just visual experience. It’s something that evokes an emotional reaction and so it makes sense to use it to your advantage: as a tool for self-discovery that will guide you to reach your full potential and fulfil your purpose.

Here’s how it works…

The Five Colour Codes

So, I’ve already mentioned your Soul Colour, which gives you your general energy and your overarching manifesting superpowers. It’s determined by all the numbers in your date of birth combined.

Your Shadow Colour relates to the hue or hues that you have unconsciously eliminated from your energy field. This is usually because of some negative association formed in childhood. However it could also represent some kind of fear, or a characteristic that you’re rejecting that holds the key to your progress.

The three remaining colour codes are:

• Your Birth Colour

• Your Growth Colour

• Your Destiny Colour

Here’s what they represent…

❤️ Birth Colour – The Way You Love

Your day of birth reveals your Birth Colour. This is the shade that shows how you connect with people, navigate relationships, and express love.

Example: Born on the 28th? 2+8 = 10 → 1+0 = 1. Your Birth Colour = Red.

Red is passion, fire, independence. In love, Birth Reds go all in and are insanely loyal. They’re bold, direct, and sometimes impatient. Birth Red’s love language is by doing whatever they can to make their partner happy.

Psychology backs this up: red is tied to desire, attraction, and vitality. It makes the heartbeat faster. Reds are natural leaders — but they must learn balance or risk burning out.

💡 Perfect partner match: Red + Blue. Fire and water balance each other beautifully.

🌿 Growth Colour – How You Thrive

Your month of birth gives you your Growth Colour. This shade speaks to your health, wellbeing, and personal development.

Example: December (12) → 1+2=3 → Growth Colour = Yellow.

Yellow is optimism, curiosity, knowledge. These people thrive when learning, problem solving, and expanding their horizons. Their wellbeing depends on keeping their mind stimulated.

Psychology notes yellow’s link to the nervous system and intellect. When yellows are not living their truth it can lead to overthinking and anxiety — but balanced yellow is pure joy and adaptability.

💡 Best exercise for Growth Yellows: anything that requires learning a routine, discipline or focus, such as salsa dancing or archery.

🌟 Destiny Colour – What You’re Here to Do

Your year of birth reveals your Destiny Colour. This one’s big: it points to your career, money, and purpose.

Example: 1985 → 1+9+8+5 = 23 → 2+3 = 5. Destiny Colour = Blue.

Blue is truth, expression, and communication. People with Destiny Blue succeed when they share their voice with the world. Writers, speakers, healers — they thrive when their words and ideas create impact.

Psychology shows blue calms the mind, builds trust, and boosts clear communication. Destiny Blues need work that feels authentic — if they chase money for its own sake, they’ll feel empty. But when they align with purpose, abundance flows.

💡 Career clue for Blues: success follows self-expression, not status.

🎨 The Bigger Picture

Here’s the twist: your colours don’t work alone — they interact. Your fiery Birth Red might crave excitement in relationships, while your more gentle Destiny Blue looks for sensible and honest work.
