September Colour Palette

A new series of monthly palettes to guide you through the year with the energy of colour

I wrote recently about my experiences with synesthesia and thought it would be fun to expand on my weird word/colour associations!

It doesn’t happen with every word, but days of the week and months are the most prominent so my intention with this new monthly series is to provide you with a unique colour palette and a mini colour reading that will guide you through the next few weeks, based on the colour that I associate with each month (the ‘anchor’).

I intuitively choose the rest of the colours in each palette to help you align your energy with that of nature, so you can navigate life’s ups and downs with more ease and flow.

Anchor colour: Fire Engine Red

This is a magical time to reap what you have sown so far this year but also to prepare for new beginnings!

As we make the transition from summer to autumn the mood changes from one of long, slow, carefree days to a more nostalgic one where we can reflect on the year so far.

The ‘back to school’ feeling that hangs in the air at this time is one of wistful fondness and is represented by the cream and khaki hues.

However, we are also reminded that it is time once again to roll up our sleeves and get to work to make the rest of the year count.

This delicious light but earthy palette tells us to receive abundance with gratitude and grace (grass green) but to remember there is still some work to be done to fully bring home the harvest (fire engine red and carmine red)

However, this should be carried out in a lighthearted and playful way (orange) - enjoy the fruits of your labour and clear the way for more!
