How To Be Unf*ckwithable

No optimisation or morning routine required

In the 20 years since The Secret was released, manifestation has changed.

Not only has it grown up, it went and got a double PhD in neuroscience and quantum physics. Today it’s less about wishing and waiting, and more about identity, frequency, and embodiment.

And here’s the bit almost no one tells you: most manifestation methods don’t work because they only ever happen in your head. Vision boards, affirmations you don’t quite believe, visualising an outcome and then opening your eyes and going right back to being the same old you—it’s all cognitive.

Trying to manifest from the mind alone is like programming a sat-nav with your destination and never starting the engine. You can know exactly where you want to go, but if you don’t get moving, the destination stays in the future.

I’ve been at this manifestation thing for about six years now and here’s what I keep coming back to: the techniques are irrelevant. The emotion behind them is what kickstarts the whole mechanism.

Manifestation isn’t really about the thing you want—it’s about the feeling you think having the thing will give you. And that feeling lives in the body, not the brain. When your thoughts and your emotions are actually aligned—what Joe Dispenza calls heart-brain coherence—you’re broadcasting a clear signal.

When you are in a state of emotional balance, when you’re so grounded in who you are that no-one or nothing can derail you, you are unfuckwithable.

And when you’re unfuckwithable, manifestation happens almost instantly.

So what’s the fastest, most accessible way to that emotional coherence? Not meditation. Not breathwork.

It’s colour.

Here are 3 ways to use it to become unfuckwithable.

1. Use colour to change your current emotional state

Think about the last time you put on red lipstick and suddenly felt more powerful. Or walked into a forest and felt your nervous system drop into calm. That’s not a coincidence—that’s colour frequencies at work, in real time, on your body.

We treat colour as decoration. It isn’t. It’s energy, and that energy interacts directly with our electromagnetic field—the strongest emission of which comes from the heart, not the brain. We don’t just see colour. We feel it. Your brain registers colour faster than it registers words or symbols, which means it bypasses your logical mind entirely and lands straight in the subconscious.

That’s why colour works as emotional language for people who can’t always find the words—children, anyone numbed out from trauma, neurodivergent folks. It gives them a way to express and shift state safely, intuitively, with no translation required.

✦ Try it: colour is one of the most immediate self-regulation tools available to you, and you’ve probably never been taught to use it as one. Start noticing what’s around you and how it makes you feel. Swap one colour out for another deliberately and track your mood before and after. You’re not decorating. You’re tuning.

2. Let colour reveal your subconscious and emotional blocks

Carl Jung was one of the first to take colour seriously as psychology—not preference, but revelation. He saw colour archetypes as living in the collective unconscious, connecting us to something pre-verbal and primal. The insight widely credited to him still holds: colour is the mother tongue of the subconscious.

Max Lüscher took that further in the 1940s with his diagnostic colour test, proving clinically that colour preference isn’t about taste—it’s about nervous system state. And here’s the part that actually matters for you: the colours you avoid is often more revealing than the ones you reach for. Your colour choices point straight at what you’re suppressing, craving, or blocking.

I lived this one. For years I wore all black—a defence mechanism disguised as a style choice. Colour felt scary. Being visible felt dangerous. Separately, I’d spent a lifetime shunning blue, and as a result was afraid to speak up. Blue represents the throat chakra and mine was firmly closed. Your relationship to colour is indicative. It tells you exactly where you are, and exactly where you’re stuck.

✦ Try it: Notice what colour you always gravitate to—and the ones that are absent from your environment. See if you can think of any instances from your past where you associated a specific colour to an emotion. Then think about the qualities you believe you lack—such as self confidence—and see if there’s any correlation. Bringing in those frequencies will change what you’re able to receive and achieve.

3. Manifest from your aligned state with Hue-man Design™

Colour is a two-way street. You can shift your state from the outside in—that’s sections one and two. But you can also work from the inside out, by understanding the colour frequencies you’re already built from. That’s what I developed Hue-man Design™ to do.

It’s a framework that blends colour psychology, energetics, and numerology to map your baseline frequency—your energy, colour-coded. Where Jung gave us four colour archetypes, Hue-man Design™ gives you nine, across four life domains:

  • Soul Colour — your core identity; the subconscious engine behind your decisions, desires, and fears

  • Birth Colour — how you bond, relate, and love; the relational patterns that keep showing up whether you invite them or not

  • Growth Colour — how your nervous system stays balanced; the domain that explains a lot about burnout

  • Destiny Colour — how you’re built to find meaning, create wealth, and build something that actually matters to you

To give you a flavour: a Red Soul is The Dynamo—a catalyst, results-driven, decisive when others hesitate, happiest leading and a little lost when someone else takes the wheel. An Indigo Soul Colour is The Teacher—they move slower, and go deeper, regulated by meaning rather than momentum, here to share wisdom and easily ungrounded by knowledge that hasn’t been integrated.

Neither is better. They’re just different frequencies—and knowing yours means you stop trying to manifest like everybody else and start building from who you actually are, rather than who you’ve been conditioned to be.

Fade to black…

You’re not manifesting wrong. You’ve just been missing a piece of the puzzle. Manifestation happens when head and heart are in alignment—and your highest timeline isn’t a destination you think your way to. It’s a frequency you tune into. Colour is the fastest, most immediate way to start embodying it.

You don’t need another method or a fancy technique. You can feel your way there by becoming unfuckwithable.
